I, David Dripps, the creator and administrator of this site am a suffer of Hidradenitis Suppurativa. My first ‘lump’ appeared around the age of seventeen and I was first operated on at the age of 19, I wasn’t diagnosed until I was 27.
I have a background in academic research encompassing computer science and IPR, I also have work extensively with repositories and open access, I am, however, not medically trained. I believe my combined skills can contribute to the progress and research of this tragic disease. I hope others follow me bringing their own experiences and expertise and together we can be greater than the sum of our parts.
