Do you suffer from Hidradenitis Suppurativa? If you do you probably know a lot about it already. Even simply sharing your story could help support other suffers. We would love to hear from you.

We are currently looking for people to submit articles to the site, become an abscesses.org authour and see your articles on the site (fully attributed to you).

To send your articles:

• If you are not a registered user us the contact form (preferably sending the article as pure text, we will format it for you),
• As a registered user, registration is free and unconditional , you can send them as a message to ddripps using the 'select a user' menu in 'new message'
  
• As an authour (a special type of user account) you can submit your stories directly using the 'submit an article' link in the user menu after log in

You must be the authour or own the copyright of the work you are submitting, and by submitting your article you a granting the site a non-exclusive license to publish the work, we encourage all our submitters to release their work under a creative commons license (as the site is licensed this way and it allows the widest possible dissemination of your work). You will be accredited as the authour (so remember to supply a pen name if you don't want to use your real name).

If you are particularly keen to regularly contribute, please contact David Dripps, using the messaging services (registered users only), stating your area of interest (eg. medical practitioner, researcher, suffer, etc.) and any work you have previously done in the area (this is not essential to become an authour). As an authour you will be able to submitted articles directly to the site via an online word processor.

We also require proof readers and editors if you feel you could help out with this please, again contact David Dripps (ddripps in the 'select a user' menu in 'new message', registered users only)
